Daniel B. Weiss is an associate at Levy Konigsberg’s New York office. His practice focuses on complex personal injury actions involving mesothelioma and other cancers resulting from asbestos exposure.
Prior to joining Levy Konigsberg’s asbestos team, Daniel was the lead associate on the Flint Water Crisis litigation, working with Lead Plaintiffs’ Counsel, Corey Stern, to prosecute the matter and bring justice to the residents of Flint, Michigan.
Recent representative matters include:
- Representing the deceased wife of an auto mechanic who suffered from mesothelioma after years of secondary exposure to asbestos dust from laundering her husband’s mechanic uniforms;
- Representing the manager of an auto shop diagnosed with mesothelioma after years of working in close proximity to auto mechanics;
- Representing a deceased US Navy veteran diagnosed with lung cancer after repairing, refurbishing, and replacing pumps and valves on World War II era ships; and
- Representing a deceased auto mechanic diagnosed with lung cancer after years of working with asbestos-containing brake parts, gaskets, clutch linings, and mufflers.
Daniel received his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center in 2012, where he was a Senior Staff member of Georgetown’s law journal, The Tax Lawyer.
Daniel is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York, the District of New Jersey, as well as the State Courts of New York, New Jersey, and Michigan.
