Mr. Daniel C. Whang is a partner in the Labor and Employment Department in the Los Angeles office of Seyfarth Shaw LLP where he represents employers in all aspects of employment law, including class, multi-plaintiff, and single-plaintiff cases involving wage and hour, discrimination, retaliation, harassment, wrongful termination, PAGA, and unfair competition claims.
Mr. Whang has represented clients in a variety of industries including insurance, manufacturing, restaurant and food services, hospitality, staffing services, education, childcare, financial services, healthcare, and retail. Mr. Whang also brings a diverse litigation background to his practice.
In addition to labor and employment matters, he has extensive experience litigating other complex commercial matters involving claims of patent infringement, trade secret misappropriation, contractual interference, breaches of fiduciary duty, legal malpractice, product liability, insurance bad faith, construction defect, and violations of securities laws.
