
Daniela Berisiartu Barshel represents corporations and individual clients in a variety of immigration matters, including EB-5 investments, I-9 compliance, and employment-based petitions. She also handles family-based sponsorships, inadmissibility waivers, and citizenship cases.
Prior to joining the firm, Daniela was an attorney at a national law firm and a Florida-based immigration law firm. While in law school, she was a law clerk at an international immigration law firm and a legal intern at the Southern Poverty Law Center and the Southern Legal Counsel.
She also served as a certified legal intern with the Gator TeamChild Juvenile Law Clinic, a research assistant for Professor Berta Hernandez-Truyol, and an editor of the Florida Journal of International Law.
Before practicing law, Daniela was a development and communications specialist at Americans for Immigrant Justice. Daniela received her bachelor’s degree, magna cum laude, from American University and her law degree, cum laude, from the University of Florida Levin College of Law.
