
Danielle Nelson counsels and represents employers, insurers, and third-party administrators in a wide variety of workers’ compensation matters.
Danielle has significant experience handling hearings before the New York State Workers’ Compensation Board, drawing on her previous work in litigation for the Special Funds Conservation Committee.
Danielle earned her bachelor’s at St. John Fisher College, and gained experience as an intern with the Office of the Monroe County District Attorney. She went on to earn her law degree at Barry University Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law.
After law school, Danielle organized a low-income wills clinic while doing pro bono work through Volunteer Legal Services Project of Monroe County (VLSP). She later joined VLSP as a staff attorney and led the Kinship Signature Project and the Closing the Gap program.
