Darren Mitchell Pirozzi

Darren Pirozzi is an award winning personal injury attorney with Rizio Law Firm, where he specializes in cases involving traumatic brain injuries, catastrophic injuries, wrongful death, and complex regional pain syndrome.

Having served as co-counsel on the firm’s record-setting jury verdict of Herman v. Cardiel in Riverside Superior Court, Mr. Pirrozi has earned a reputation as one of the nation’s top trial lawyers.

He is a member of the prestigious Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum and was awarded “2015 Trial Lawyer of the Year” for the entire state of California by the Consumer Attorney’s of California (CAOC) organization.

In one such instance, Mr. Pirozzi obtained one of the largest premises liability settlements on record against the City of San Diego. The case – which was a featured story in the “Voice of San Diego” in 2013 – involved a situation where his client tripped and fell on a raised portion of a sidewalk in San Diego’s historic Gas Lamp District.

Mr. Pirozzi currently serves on the Board of Governors for the Consumer Attorneys of California (CAOC). He is also an active member of the Consumer Attorneys of Los Angeles, the Orange County Trial Lawyers Association, and the Consumer Attorneys of the Inland Empire.

Darren grew up in Great Neck, New York. He has been a resident of California ever since attending California Western School of Law, where he earned his J.D. degree in 1991. In his spare time, he enjoys sailing, scuba diving, and is also an accomplished guitarist.
