David M. Gottfried is a graduate of the State University of New York at Farmingdale and obtained his law degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo Law School. He studied immigration in law school and was a two time participant in the immigration clinic. He also worked for a summer at the largest immigration firm in the country.
Before joining Gottfried & Gottfried, LLP, David worked for a small personal injury firm on Long Island as a trial attorney. He is admitted to practice in the State of New York.
David has been invited to speak at the 2017 American Immigration Lawyers Association National convention in New Orleans, on the topic of: From Diplomacy to Residency: Diplomatic Visa Holders Changing Status from NIV to LPR.
David is a also a frequent speaker on a wide range of immigration law topics. He is an active participant and speaker on United Nations and G-4 issues and at local area colleges, including Baruch College, and CUNY Brooklyn.
