Prior to joining Secor, Cassidy and McPartland, Atty. David J Bozzuto was in a solo practice for ten years. As a solo, Mr. Bozzuto had a general practice giving him broad experience in many areas of practice.
Although he continues to provide a broad array of legal services, the majority of his current practice is related to personal injury, civil litigation and divorce.
Before becoming a member of the Bar, Mr. Bozzuto spent several years as a school teacher. He taught history at Holy Cross H.S. until 1978.
After becoming a lawyer, he became a member of the adjunct faculty at Post University where he taught history and business law for 17 years.
Atty. Bozzuto was a member of the Waterbury Board of Alderman for ten years and has served on numerous other Boards and Commissions.
He was a long time member of the Board and past President of the Waterbury Bar Association.
Currently, he is President of the Board of Statewide Legal Services, President of the Board of the Friends of the Waterbury Greenway and Secretary of the Board of Family and Children’s Aid Foundation. He is also a Fellow of the Connecticut Bar Foundation.
Mr. Bozzuto is an avid golfer and a fly fisherman. He is also an accomplished amateur photographer and an experienced traveller.
