David J. Kete focuses his practice on a wide variety of litigation matters in state and federal courts. He has experience writing briefs and legal memoranda, including for appellate cases. He represents public and private companies in many industries.
Prior to joining Mintz, David served as a law clerk for the Hon. Paul J. Barbadoro of the US District Court for the District of New Hampshire and the Hon. Frank M. Gaziano of the Supreme Judicial Court of Massachusetts.
Earlier, he was an assistant district attorney for Middlesex County, Massachusetts, where he gained first-chair trial experience in more than 100 trials, including more than 50 jury trials, and wrote briefs for several appellate matters.
While attending law school, David was a student practitioner for Boston College Law School’s Ninth Circuit Appellate Program and the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office and a legal intern for the Appeals Bureau of the New York County District Attorney’s Office in New York City.
He also served as a summer associate at an Ohio-based law firm. In law school, David served as the executive articles editor of the Boston College International and Comparative Law Review.
