David has practiced at Sanders Law Firm since October, 2014, focusing primarily on mass torts including the Risperdal/Invega, General Motors Ignition Switch Defect, Essure, and Zofran litigation.
David has also participated and filed actions in copyright, trademark and entertainment law cases, including a successful declaratory action against a major Hollywood studio on behalf of a small independent filmmaker.
In addition, David has participated in and filed public utility actions and property tax appeals.
Following law school, David clerked for the Honorable John M. Waters at a trial level criminal court in Bridgeton, New Jersey. David worked from behind the bench on numerous major criminal trials during that year including three major sex crime trials, two murder trials and one death penalty trial.
As a law clerk, David also mediated small claims civil disputes in damages up to $17,000.00.
Following this clerkship, David took an associate attorney position with Southwestern Pennsylvania Legal Services, practicing bankruptcy, foreclosure, landlord-tenant and domestic violence law for the indigent community in Pittsburgh’s southern suburbs.
After a brief period in Northern California where he participated in a large scale E-discovery project for the Fair Trade Commission in an action against The Intel Corporation, David resumed courtroom practice as an attorney with the Special Funds Commission, a quasi-governmental re-insurance entity in upstate New York.
David represented the Special Funds at numerous workers compensation hearings and filed numerous appellate briefs in the years 2010 through 2013 with the Special Funds.
Beginning in the spring of 2013, David worked as a settlement attorney for the Special Funds, settling millions in workers compensation claims under Section 32 of the New York Workers Compensation Law.
