Deborah Lempogo is a litigator in our Atlanta office and a member of the firm’s Litigation Practice. She focuses her practice on representing clients in complex civil litigation and large-scale class actions, including matters involving product liability, the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO) and Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA).
Deborah has experience in all aspects of litigation, including pleadings and pleading attacks, discovery and related motion practice, dispositive motions and opposing class certification motions. Deborah also has experience counseling insurers on their duty to defend and indemnify insureds in complex fact scenarios.
Before becoming a lawyer, Deborah was a benefits officer for the government of Canada where she interpreted and applied the provisions of the Canada Pension Plan, the Old Age Security Act and more than 50 international agreements to determine an applicant’s entitlement to a retirement pension, old age security pension and disability pension.
