Denis Oyakawa has practiced for more than 30 years assisting Pacific Rim enterprises in making investments and doing business in the United States. During his career, he has worked in both Japan and the United States representing clients in acquisitions, partnerships and joint ventures and real estate investments.
Denis also has extensive experience with cross-border technology transfers and licensing, sales, agency, distribution and franchise agreements, warranty law, financing and secured transactions and other matters relating to the marketing of goods and services in the United States.
Over the years, Denis has assisted in the formation of more than 200 business entities. In addition, Denis actively counsels manufacturers, exporters and importers regarding US trade law, particularly in the defense of anti dumping proceedings.
