Denise K. Aguilar has been practicing law in Arizona since 2004. She is a Crimson Scholar graduate of New Mexico State University and earned her Juris Doctor from University of New Mexico School of Law.
Denise has made bankruptcy a focus of her career since clerking for a bankruptcy attorney during law school. She spent two years at the Pinal County Public Defender and one year at the Maricopa County Office of the Legal Defender, working as a trial attorney for indigent criminal defendants.
Denise is currently licensed to practice in Arizona Supreme Court, United States District Court, District of Arizona, and United States Bankruptcy Court, District of Arizona.
Denise and her family are avid football fans. Denise’s fiancé, Joel, coaches football at Mountain Pointe High School and South East Valley Youth Football League.
Denise and Joel own Heads Up Helmets, which provides reconditioning and recertification of football helmets and other athletic equipment.
Denise loves to cook and work out, attend Joel’s football games, and spends much of her down time with her Bully Pit, Nyla, watching the Philadelphia Eagles win.
