Devon Applegate Caton joined Ropes & Gray in the litigation department as an associate in 2016. Devon routinely represents clients in government enforcement actions and civil litigation relating to Federal securities laws and complex commercial disputes.
Devon collaborates with colleagues across practices and has particular experience representing mutual fund clients in cases brought under Section 36(b) of the Investment Company Act. Devon maintains an active pro bono practice, particularly representing clients seeking asylum.
During law school, Devon served as a managing editor of the Environmental Affairs Law Review. She also participated in the Boston College Innocence Program and completed an externship at the Committee for Public Counsel Services Innocence Program.
