Diandra Hosey is a graduate of Mississippi College School of Law, and is licensed to practice law in all state and federal courts in Mississippi.
Prior to attending law school, she earned a Master of Science degree in Political Science and Public Administration from the University of Southern Mississippi, where she served as a graduate assistant in the Political Science Department. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from Mississippi College as well.
In 2013, Ms. Hosey was elected to represent Ward 2 on the Byram Board of Alderman in the City’s first election. She was re-elected, unopposed, in 2017. In addition to serving on the Board of Alderman, Ms. Hosey is very active in the community by way of being a member of the Magnolia Bar Association and the Byram-Terry Junior Auxiliary. Moreover, in 2016 Ms. Hosey was recognized by the State of Mississippi and the Mississippi Volunteerism Commission as a result of her volunteer work at various pro bono legal clinics. Ms. Hosey is also an Alumni of the 2014 class of the Mississippi Bar Leadership Forum and member of New Hope Baptist Church where she serves in Ushers Ministry.
