Dominic Madigan is a partner in Williams Mullen’s Health Care Section. He focuses his practice on providing transactional and regulatory representation to health care clients, including hospital systems, long-term care providers and physicians and physician practice groups.
He provides counsel on a variety of complex business and legal matters, including acquisitions, joint ventures, Medicare, Medicaid and other reimbursement matters. He also advises health care providers on state and federal regulatory issues, including COPN, licensure and the Stark Law.
Dominic’s practice also includes representing clients in intellectual property matters and trademark protection. He advises clients, including domestic and international companies, on strategic intellectual property issues.
He also has experience negotiating and drafting licensing and other intellectual property agreements. Dominic’s trademark experience includes assisting clients with trademark research and registration, as well as developing and implementing strategies to exploit and protect the trademark.
He received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Virginia, where he served on the Articles Review Board of the Virginia Law Review. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree, magna cum laude, from Bucknell University.
