Donald A. Garcia is an experienced litigation attorney of 22+ years. He was born and raised in Santa Ana, California. It was his upbringing in this community which led him to understand that in order to make a difference in ones life; he needed to be well rounded and well educated.
After finishing high-school, Donald spent 4 years in the military with the 101st Airborne Division in Fort Campbell, Kentucky. After separation from the Army, Donald attended UCI where he pursued a medical degree.
One day, a class-mate of his spoke of taking the LSAT, which after learning what this was, Donald decided to tag along, took the test, and entered law school shortly thereafter. He never looked back and later learned that he was born on Law Day.
While attending law school at night, Donald worked as a bodily injury adjuster for 3 years. Thereafter, he traveled the United States teaching insurance companies about the benefits of utilizing mediation and arbitration to settle their cases. He has extensive knowledge in all aspects of personal injury, and always strives to place the needs of the client first.
In an effort to give back to his community, Donald has been the Mayor of Aliso Viejo, twice, and served on the City Council for 6 years. He served on the city’s first planning commission and has been a Director with the Orange County Fire Authority.
Donald has been married for 24 years with 3 children. In his spare time, he enjoys attending his son’s basketball games, reading and playing golf.
