Dr. Puneet Kohli’s principal area of practice is intellectual property, with a focus on patent litigation, intellectual property licensing, and technology transactions. Dr. Kohli brings experience that spans various areas of engineering and science—electrical and computer engineering, materials science, solid state physics, nanotechnology, and semiconductor devices and fabrication.
Dr. Kohli has represented clients in numerous district courts, the Federal Circuit, and the United States International Trade Commission. Dr. Kohli was a legal extern for the Honorable Dr. Justice Balbir Singh Chauhan of the Supreme Court of India.
Prior to attending law school, Dr. Kohli worked for over six years in Texas Instruments’ R&D division and developed state of the art technologies used in multiple semiconductor technology nodes. He has authored over 30 technical papers published in scientific journals and conference proceedings and is an inventor in 12 issued U.S. patents.
