
Drew D. Christie focuses on complex patent litigation in U.S. district courts and post-grant proceedings before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB) of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) related to the pharmaceutical and biotechnology fields, with particular emphasis on Abbreviated New Drug Application (ANDA) cases.
Drew’s litigation experience covers trial preparation, validity analyses, client counseling, and legal research. Prior to joining Finnegan, Drew conducted research for the Mental Illness, Research, Education and Clinical Center at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).
His work focused on pituitary dysfunction and behavioral symptoms associated with blast-related mild traumatic brain injury. While at the VA, he also worked with the Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center to publish a peer-reviewed publication in a scientific journal.
