Drew Ledbetter born and bred on Checotah, Oklahoma graduated from University of Arkansas School of Law in 2003. Drew won the University Of Arkansas Board Of Advocates Trial Competition was a member of the University trial team in law school.
Drew started his career working as an attorney at Everett Law Firm before becoming a special prosecutor for gun violence and narcotics at Benton County. Drew worked with undercover narcotics agents in constructing narcotics investigation and asset forfeiture cases. During his two years as special prosecutor, he had many jury trials and prosecuted hundreds of cases.
Mr. Ledbetter was later promoted to the office of Division1 Chief at the Benton County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office where he supervised other prosecutor and handled many cases including murder, rape, theft, and battery cases. He was later elevated to the post of Senior Trial Attorney in the same office.
After the trial of his first capital murder case in 2005, he went on to defend clients in all forms of homicide case under the criminal code and has successfully overturned a death penalty.
Mr Ledbetter is an APDC Death Penalty Certified Attorney, and a graduate of the “Colorado Method” Jury Selection course of the University of Colorado.
Drew has a strong reputation of building solid cases and employing good energy in handling them. He is a skilled negotiator with a goal to act in his clients’ best interest.
