Edgar I Hall practice is dedicated to defending people against banks and creditors with an emphasis on debt relief. Debt relief is more than just Bankruptcy. Debt relief means taking a holistic approach to your financial profile and formulating the best strategy to help your bottom line. I start by looking at non court options including work outs, settlements, or determining if you are judgment proof.
Next I look at non bankruptcy court options such as suing for collections abuse or fraud, accounting errors, or document mistakes. If this does not work or if bankruptcy is a better option, then I help you to explore how bankruptcy can help your bottom line. After bankruptcy, I can address credit repair and zombie debt collection activity.
This holistic approach is designed to cure the debt itself rather than merely addressing the symptoms. Further, I used to work as a creditor attorney and am familiar with creditor tactics, strategies, and the bank’s bottom line. Banks are about numbers. My job is to hurt their bottom line while helping yours.
Let me put my experience on your side and help you find the best solution to your debt issues. My practice areas include: bankruptcy, eviction defense, foreclosure defense, creditor/debtor law, collection violations / FDCPA litigation, consumer protection / CPA, credit reporting violations / FCRA litigation, landlord tenant law, tenant rights, student loan law, produce the note litigation, strategic default counseling, predatory lending, wrongful foreclosure, foreclosure fairness mediation act representation, and other debt related areas of law.
Prior to law school, I served in the U.S. Air Force reserves for nearly ten years while completing my undergraduate degree and deploying for Operation Enduring Freedom in support of post 9/11 operations. I currently live in beautiful Edmonds, WA with my wife Nellie and our dog Remy.During my free time I enjoy organic cooking, traveling, spoken word events, and reading.
