Edward Canter is an associate in the Litigation Department and a member of the Firm’s White Collar Defense & Investigations Group. Edward earned J.D. and M.B.A. degrees from Emory University, where he was a managing editor of the Emory Corporate Governance and Accountability Review and a member of the Emory Moot Court Society.
While at Emory, he worked as a legal intern for the National Basketball Association’s Atlanta Hawks and at the U.S. Attorney’s Offices for the Northern District of Georgia and the Middle District of Florida.
Prior to law school, Edward served as a legislative assistant for U.S. Representative Bart Gordon, focusing on issues related to agriculture, education and government reform. He also served as a staff assistant for U.S. Senator Tim Johnson.
