Edward Glynn was a former senior official in the Federal Trade Commission. His practice include offering counsel to wide ranging clients from consumer products and services, pharmaceutical and dietary supplements, advertising and marketing. He offers strategic business counseling on federal and state regulatory matters, government investigation and litigation, consumer protection and trade regulatory issues.
He has decades of experience representing clients involved in federal and state regulatory investigations and ensuring ad campaigns are in harmony with Compliance regulatory requirements.
Before his career as a legal practitioner, he served for 14 years in various posts in the FTC conducting regulatory oversight functions in transnational acquisitions and mergers. While at FTC, he was both assistant director and associate director of the Bureau of Competitions.
Mr. Glynn was also a trial attorney at the FTC leading the commission’s litigations before the U.S. district courts and court of appeals. He served as a member of the Chair of the Working Group on Competition and Intellectual Property. He is a member of the American Bar Association and has served a member of the U.S. Delegation to the Committee on Competition Policy of O.E.C.D.
Mr. Glynn was a partner at an international full service law firm with his legal focus on antitrust, advertising and trade regulation issues. Ed currently represents clients in litigations before the Council of Better Business Bureau’s national advertising division.
