Mr. Deason received his undergraduate degree at Loyola Marymount University graduating cum laude. He then taught high school and went on to earn his law degree from Loyola Law School in December of 1982. Upon passing the bar, Mr. Deason started as an associate lawyer at the Law Offices of Edwin C. Martin, Jr. He soon became a partner of the firm, which changed names to Martin & Deason, in 1987. Mr. Deason is admitted to practice before all the courts of the state of California, the Central and Northern U.S. District Courts, the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court.
