Ed is the managing member of the Law Office of Edward I. Zwilling, LLC. He is rated AV Preeminent by Martindale Hubbell and has been nominated to SuperLawyers on multiple occasions.
Ed went to college at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia and attended Cumberland School of Law in Birmingham, Alabama. He has been practicing law for approximately 25 years. Ed has spent the last 15 years largely engaged in the representation of people with disabilities.
He helps those individuals enforce their civil rights under the Americans with Disabilities Act, Rehabilitation Act, Fair Housing Amendments Act, and various state and federal civil rights laws against discrimination on the basis of disability.
As there are relatively few attorneys who practice primarily in this area, Ed has been asked to represent people with disabilities across the country. He is admitted to practice in the State of Alabama as well as numerous federal district courts in Alabama, Arkansas, Colorado, District of Columbia, Florida, Ohio, Michigan, Tennessee, Texas, and Wisconsin and has handled cases in numerous other states.
