Eldon Daine Sharpe was born and raised in the small town of Dadeville, in Tallapoosa County, Alabama. He attended Dadeville public schools and after graduation in 1985, attended Auburn University.

Upon passing the bar exam, he went to work with his father, Eldon Sharpe, in Dadeville in 1992 and has been practicing there ever since.
