Eleanor Kasper is an associate in Alston & Bird’s Labor & Employment Group. Her practice includes advising and defending employers in litigation and EEOC charges involving various kinds of discrimination and retaliation. Eleanor also assists in employment matters involving noncompete agreements, terminations, employee handbooks, and confidentiality issues.
Before joining Alston & Bird, Eleanor served as law clerk to the Honorable Lisa Godbey Wood in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Georgia. Eleanor received her J.D., magna cum laude, from the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University.
While in law school, she served as the student writing editor for the Mercer Law Review and president of the National Security Law Society, and completed an externship with the Honorable Hugh Lawson in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Georgia.
Additionally, Eleanor received the National Association of Women Lawyers Outstanding Law Student Award and was initiated into the Brainerd Currie Honor Society. Eleanor earned a B.A. in peace, war, and defense, with honors, from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
