
Elia Herrera is a litigation associate in the San Francisco office of Munger, Tolles & Olson. Ms. Herrera clerked for Judge John B. Owens of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and Judge Philip S. Gutierrez of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California.
Ms. Herrera received her J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law, where she was the co-editor-in-chief of the La Raza Law Journal. During law school, Ms. Herrera interned at the American Civil Liberties Union, the San Francisco Immigrant Legal and Education Network and the California Asylum Representation Clinic in Northern California. She received her B.A from Stanford University and studied abroad in Paris through the Bing Overseas Program. Ms. Herrera is fluent in Spanish.
