Elise Farrell is an associate in the litigation practice. Ms. Farrell advises clients on various government contracts and complex commercial litigation matters. She assists with a variety of procurement and contracts issues, including construction litigation, as well as transactional government contracts due diligence, and False Claims Act investigations.
Ms. Farrell received her B.A., summa cum laude, in Psychology with minors in Italian and entrepreneurship from Wake Forest University in 2010 and her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center, cum laude, in 2016. She was a member of Akin Gump’s 2015 Summer Associate Class.
While in law school, Ms. Farrell served as an intern with the Small Business Administration, Office of General Counsel, Procurement Division, as well as a judicial intern for the Honorable Chief Judge Beryl A. Howell in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia. Ms. Farrell was also a student practitioner in the Center for Applied Legal Studies Clinic and served as the executive notes development editor of The Tax Lawyer.
