Elizabeth Yablonicky works in the Firm’s Global Tax Practice. She routinely advises companies on a variety of corporate and international taxation matters, particularly on transfer pricing matters. In addition to her practice, Ms. Yablonicky frequently speaks on transfer pricing tax issues at seminars organized by the Tax Executives Institute and BNA/CITE. She also co-authored “At Your Service(s): Still Crazy After All These Years” for International Taxation.
Ms. Yablonicky focuses her practice in the areas of corporate and international tax planning and tax dispute resolution with an emphasis on transfer pricing. Ms. Yablonicky has worked on numerous Advance Pricing Agreements and competent authority negotiations, and helps US- and foreign-owned multinational companies resolve corporate and international tax controversies.
She works on many global transfer pricing documentation projects and advises clients on the development and analysis of intercompany pricing policies. She also has experience in preparing intercompany contracts.
Ms. Yablonicky is a member of the board of the Chicago Appleseed Fund for Justice, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting social justice and government effectiveness by identifying injustice, investigating its causes and proposing effective solutions.
In partnership with Chicago Appleseed, she led pro bono teams:
(a) preparing a report on Cook County Central Bond Court, with a view to eliminating the use of money bond for indigent accused persons,
(b) researching the constitutionality of imposing fines, fees and costs on indigent criminal defendants and proposing legislative solutions, and
(c) conducting a multi-state survey of Parentage Court systems and preparing a report to the head judge of Illinois’ Parentage Courts, which resulted in combination of Cook County’s Parentage and Divorce courts in the interest of fairness.
