Elizabeth Casey, assists in the prosecution of personal injury and wrongful death cases, including cases against major corporations.Elizabeth has successfully handled cases arising out of motor vehicle collisions, premises liability, animal attacks, sexual abuse, and medical malpractice. A skilled trial attorney, Elizabeth has participated in jury trials, court-ordered arbitrations, and voluntary mediations.
Throughout her time at Lyndsay Markley Law, Elizabeth has assisted in the recovery of tens of millions of dollars on behalf of dozens of survivors of sexual and physical abuse/assault. These cases have been against a number of entities, including, corporations, religious organizations, youth-serving programs, and public and private schools.
Prior to joining Lyndsay Markley Law, Elizabeth worked as an Associate Attorney at a prominent personal injury firm in Chicago in the area of plaintiffs’ personal injury and wrongful death. Elizabeth received her Juris Doctor from The John Marshall Law School in Chicago, Illinois, where she graduated in the top 10% of her class. While in law school, she was the recipient of a competitive judicial externship working with the Honorable Margaret A. Brennan in the Circuit Court of Cook County.
In addition to this honor, Elizabeth served as a teaching assistant for John Marshall students, a staff and communications editor for a legal publication, The John Marshall Journal of Information Technology & Privacy, and an as an instructor in Torts and Property for the Academic Enhancement Program, where she assisted students in developing the skills necessary for academic success in law school and beyond.
