A. Elizabeth Jones focuses her practice on intellectual property litigation and enforcement, including copyright and trademark infringement litigation. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Jones worked as an attorney in the Atlanta office of an international law firm where her practice included counseling clients with regard to trademark matters and electronic discovery issues, including enforcement of clients’ rights in existing copyrights, trademarks, domain name disputes, and maintenance of trademark registrations. She has been involved in intellectual property litigation before federal courts involving claims of trademark and trade dress infringement, trademark dilution, unfair competition, and false advertising.
Ms. Jones has developed particular expertise in managing e-discovery projects in large-scale, multi-jurisdiction ligation and intellectual property transactional matters. Previously, Ms. Jones was a legal intern in the Boston, Massachusetts office of an international law firm where she drafted and negotiated international publishing licenses, life story and dramatic rights, film production agreements, purchase and financing agreements, producer and writer credit for film and television, photograph licenses, book options and collaboration agreements.
While attending law school, Ms. Jones served as Associate Editor (2005-2006), Executive Board Member and Current Developments Editor (2006-2007) of the New England Journal of International and Comparative Law.
Ms. Jones edited and contributed to the updates for the 2006 Supplement of Perle and Williams on Publishing Law, Third Edition.
