Elizabeth (Liz) Petow Mayo’s practice focuses on all aspects of corporate law. She represents public and private companies in a variety of industries, including technology, life sciences and financial services. Ms. Mayo was a summer associate at WilmerHale in 2016.
While in law school, Ms. Mayo was a student advocate at Harvard Law School’s Veterans Legal Clinic, representing veterans pro bono before the Department of Veterans Affairs and the Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims. She also volunteered as a tax preparer for low-income individuals and families.
Previously, Ms. Mayo was a legal intern at the MIT Office of the General Counsel where she assisted attorneys with projects in several disciplines, including intellectual property, charitable giving and real estate. Before law school, Ms. Mayo was a paralegal at a Boston-area immigration law firm.
