Elizete Velado is member of Goldberg Noone LLC. A native of Kearny, New Jersey, Elizete Velado initially decided to become an attorney because she viewed it as an opportunity to work on behalf of disenfranchised individuals, and she has continued her pursuit by protecting the legal rights of those who have been catastrophically injured or been mistreated by an insurance company.
Elizete earned her Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, from Florida State University and later earned her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Florida State University College of Law. As a law student, Elizete used her strong leadership ability to excel in academics and in the legal sector.
Her accomplishments in academia were recognized early on, and in 2010, the Florida Bar Foundation selected her as a recipient of the Summer Legal Aid Fellowship, allowing her to work with Gulfcoast Legal Services in St. Petersburg on behalf of indigent individuals.
The following year, she was selected as an intern for the International Bar Association in London, where she provided comprehensive research and writing on cutting edge international law and human rights issues for the program lawyers at the IBA’s Human Rights Institute. These opportunities prepared Elizete for the complexities that accompany difficult cases, and allowed her to further develop her litigation and research skills.
Prior to joining Goldberg, Racila, D’Alessandro & Noone, Elizete was with a prominent personal injury and civil litigation firm with offices in Tampa and Georgia.
