Ellen K. Demson primarily defends clients in personal injury and property damage litigation. Committed to ensuring her clients are informed throughout the process, Ellen is involved in all phases of litigation from intake to resolution. Before joining Hinshaw as an associate, she was a summer associate with the firm.
Ellen also gained invaluable experience through externships and internships. As a Judicial Extern for the Honorable James T. Chou and the Honorable Roy O. Chernus, Marin County Superior Court, she conducted research and drafted memoranda and final orders on a wide range of criminal and civil matters. Ellen also interned with the Marin County Public Defender’s Office and Santa Clara County Office of the Public Defender.
In addition to her academic accomplishments during law school, Ellen was involved in a number of associations and activities. She was Senior Articles Editor for the UC Davis Law Review, a TA for Legal Research & Writing, and Competition Chair for the Trial Practice Honors Board.
