I am a graduate of Columbia (B.A., 1966) and the University of Colorado School of Law (J.D., 1969). I have been licensed to practice law in the State of Colorado and the U.S. District Court of the District of Colorado since 1969. I am also admitted to the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals.
I have practiced in Colorado since completing a clerkship with Justice Robert B. Lee of the Colorado Supreme Court. I have also served as a municipal court judge. I have been practicing law for more than 45 years and for the last 35 of those years, have specialized in employment law.
I devote approximately 80% of my practice to the representation of employees in labor and employment law disputes in the private sector. I have represented numerous private and public employees before the EEOC, CCRD, OFO, the U.S. Merit Systems Protection Board and various agencies and governmental entities.
I have also represented employees in state courts, the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado and the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals. I am a long-time member of both NELA (National Employment Lawyers Association) and previously a member of the Board of Directors of PELA (Plaintiff Employment Lawyers Association). I often advise colleagues with regard to legal issues that they may encounter from time to time.
