Emmanuel Fashakin, Jr. is a litigation associate whose practice focuses on white collar and regulatory defense, internal investigations, and complex civil litigation. Mr. Fashakin joined Debevoise in 2014. From 2015 to 2016, he clerked for the Hon. Ramon E. Reyes, Jr. of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York.
Mr. Fashakin received his J.D., cum laude, from Brooklyn Law School in 2014, where he was an articles editor for the Brooklyn Law Review, Vice President of the Moot Court Honor Society, President of the Black Law Students Association, and a Dean’s Merit Scholarship recipient. He received his B.A. from Hunter College in 2005. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Fashakin was an investigator with the New York City Civilian Complaint Review Board.
Mr. Fashakin is a member of the Bar of the State of New York and is admitted to appear before the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
