Eric Brueckner, Ph.D. applies his expertise in materials chemistry to patent infringement and litigation matters. He has broad, hands-on experience in areas of materials science, nanotechnology, and electrical engineering.
During his time as a graduate researcher at the University of Illinois, Eric conducted research developing novel processing strategies for creating highly-functional, micro-scale semiconductor devices such as solar cells and light-emitting diodes.
By studying the materials’ interactions between these devices and potential carrier substrates, he was able to create fully functional modules of solar cells or light-emitting diodes on plastic, glass, or rubber for flexible, transparent, and/or stretchable applications.
