Eric James Demetriades grew up in South Florida and attended Florida State University for his undergraduate degree in Political Science and his Master’s Degree in Applied American Politics.
While at Florida state, he was President of his fraternity, Phi Gamma Delta, active as a board member of IFC, elected as a student senator and Senior Class Counsel, and President of the Order of Omega.
After completing his Master’s Degree he attended the University Of Richmond School of Law. At the University of Richmond he was very active in the Client Counseling and Negotiations Board, the Trial Advocacy Board, a member of Phi Delta Phi Honor Fraternity, and was elected to the Student Bar Association.
After graduating law school in 2007, Mr. Demetriades worked for Steptoe and Johnson briefly before practicing for a General Practice Firm in Loudoun and Fairfax County. While an associate at the firm he handled cases ranging from School Disciplinary Appeals to Murder cases.
In 2010 he was named one of Loudoun County Businesses’ Top 30 Under 30 Professionals. In 2013 he started the law firm of Hendrix │ Demetriades, PC which specialized in Criminal Defense, Family Law, and Juvenile Law. In 2015, he was a Co-Founding Partner of the Laurel Brigade Law Group. In 2017, he was named “40 Under 40” by the Loudoun Times Mirror.
