Eric Lancaster is a partner in White & Case’s Intellectual Property Practice Group. His practice focuses on litigation matters across the country as well as before the United States International Trade Commission and covers a variety of areas including patent litigation relating to software, social networking, mobile devices, semiconductor, LCDs, computer hardware, and pharmaceuticals.
Mr. Lancaster’s patent litigation experience includes serving as counsel in patent infringement cases, direct examination of witnesses, pre- and post-trial filings, discovery, claim construction briefing, summary judgment briefing, drafting briefs, including briefs for the Federal Circuit Court of Appeals, and taking and defending depositions of experts and non-experts for matters in the District Court, International Trade Commission, and State Courts. Mr. Lancaster also has litigation experience with respect to antitrust and trade secret matters.
In addition to litigation matters, Mr. Lancaster provides strategic and commercial advice to leading multinational companies and has significant experience with IP and commercial due diligence investigations in the context of analyzing complex commercial and technical aspects of corporate transactions.
