
Eric L. Scharphorn helps public and private companies navigate their legal and business needs. He counsels clients on strategic transactions and governance matters by working alongside them to develop innovative business solutions, resolve issues and manage risk in a variety of corporate matters.
Eric works with companies in a diverse array of industries and has experience working on mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, venture capital investments, franchise matters, and corporate restructuring. Eric also advises companies on general corporate matters, including corporate governance, commercial contracts and entity formations.
During law school, Eric worked as a summer associate with Faegre Baker Daniels and interned with the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services in the Department of Homeland Security. He also sharpened his legal skills as a student attorney with the Michigan Law School Transactional Lab and the Michigan Unemployment Insurance Project.
