Erica L. Jewell practices with the firm’s healthcare department and advises her clients on a broad range of regulatory and compliance matters including the Anti-Kickback Statute, Stark Law, the fraud and abuse laws, state corporate practice of medicine doctrines, and state licensure laws.
Erica also handles transactional matters for her clients, representing healthcare providers in joint ventures, mergers, and acquisitions. Her clients include ambulatory surgical centers, dental practices, dialysis centers, hospitals, and physician groups, among others.
Erica received her law degree from Loyola University Chicago School of Law in 2017, where she graduated cum laude. As a law student, Erica was the Advanced Directives Editor for the Annals of Health Law and a Senior Editor of the Loyola University Chicago Law Journal. She was a Beazley Institute Health Law Fellow where she competed on Loyola’s Health Law Transactional Competition Team and earned a Health Law Certificate.
