Erik Kitchen defends senior corporate management, public officials, investment bank and hedge fund principals, and other individuals and entities in government investigations and proceedings in a variety of contexts, including Department of Justice investigations and prosecutions and SEC enforcement proceedings.
Erik has represented clients in proceedings involving allegations of accounting and securities fraud, false statements to the government, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) violations, insider trading, and public corruption.
Erik also conducts internal investigations for corporations regarding potential violations of the FCPA. He has conducted FCPA investigations involving a range of industries and operations in Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and South and Central America.
