Erin East is an associate in King & Spalding’s Atlanta office and a member of the firm’s Special Matters and Investigations practice. Her practice focuses on internal corporate investigations, white-collar criminal defense, and related civil litigation.
Prior to joining King & Spalding, Erin served as a law clerk to The Honorable Timothy C. Batten, Sr. in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia and The Honorable Robert R. Beezer in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. She also worked for a large international law firm where she represented clients in internal investigations and corporate transactions and advised clients on various matters of corporate governance and compliance.
During law school, Erin served as an Executive Managing Editor of the Emory Law Journal. Prior to attending law school, she worked as a legal assistant to the general counsel of a privately-owned government contractor.
