Erin Mackin defends prominent corporations in a broad range of general liability claims, including property damage, construction, and premises liability. She has in-depth experience conducting and defending depositions, overseeing settlement negotiations, and managing cases from motion preparation through trial.
Erin’s background includes working in an integrated legal, operations, and technology firm where she handled claims analysis for a multi-billion-dollar environmental fund, and oversaw internal protocol compliance.
She also has experience in criminal court, specifically the New York City Department of Probation and the Office of the Special Narcotics Prosecutor. Erin uses this valuable experience conducting legal research, performing investigations, and assisting court proceedings to maximize productivity when preparing for, and conducting, mediations and trials.
While at New York Law School, Erin was an active member of the Moot Court Association and National Moot Court Team, reaching the finals of the Charles W. Frossel Moot Court Competition her second year. She also served on the executive board of the Association and received the Order of Barristers award.
