
Ernest H. Tuttle grew up in and around the legal and educational world. He heard about legal issues and educational issues since childhood from his father who was a lawyer and from his mother who was a teacher.
He has represented individual members of the California Teachers Association in all aspects of their employment for more than 44 years. Mr. Tuttle has regularly represented teachers in dismissal cases, notices of unprofessional conduct/unsatisfactory performance, salary disputes, credential matters, criminal matters arising from employment, sick leave, reprimands, district reorganizations, and reductions in force.
Mr. Tuttle also frequently provides training to teacher groups. He has participated in more than 200 administrative hearings. Mr. Tuttle has worked for more than 35 years with his sister, and fellow attorney, Kay Tuttle, and together they have won eight (8) precedent-setting cases for teachers.
In addition to educational work, Mr. Tuttle has represented a large number of clients who have suffered serious personal injuries.
