Esther King is a director in the Litigation Practice Group. Her practice is concentrated on representing employers and carriers before the Virginia Workers’ Compensation Commission, including appellate work before the Full Commission.
Esther regularly advises employers and carriers on all aspects of litigation, settlement, appeal and mediation of workers’ compensation matters. Esther is licensed to practice law in Virginia, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island.
She earned her J.D. at Roger Williams University in Bristol, Rhode Island. Upon graduation, she began her career representing injured workers before the Rhode Island Workers’ Compensation Court.
She then joined McKenney Quigley Izzo & Clarkin and focused her practice on insurance defense litigation. Esther relocated to Virginia in 2010 and practiced workers’ compensation defense with a private firm before joining McCandlish Holton.
