
Eva C. Roffis is an Associate in the Litigation Practice Group. Her practice is focused on representing employers and insurance carriers in the defense of workers’ compensation claims in Virginia. Eva’s interest in workers’ compensation law began when she worked as a Litigation Paralegal at McCandlish Holton prior to enrolling in law school.
She earned her J.D. at the University of Miami School of Law, gaining practical experience at The Innocence Clinic, where she represented inmates claiming actual innocence by investigating innocence claims and litigating post-conviction motions.
Prior to joining McCandlish Holton, Eva gained knowledge of the judicial system through her internships at the Office of the Attorney General of Virginia and the Central Virginia Capital Defender Office. Eva gained additional litigation experience and workers’ compensation knowledge as a Legal Intern at McCandlish Holton following her 2L year.
