Evan Korngold is an associate in the Corporate, Finance and Investments Practice Group of King & Spalding’s Houston office. He represents energy companies in mergers, acquisitions, commercial transactions, energy project development, as well as matters of corporate governance.
Before law school, Evan worked in a range of roles including, as a financial analyst, crude oil trading analyst and scheduler at a major oil company in the domestic midstream area. He has experience in domestic crude oil trading and hedging, including pricing formulas, storage plays, location-trading strategies, pipeline scheduling, and marketing of upstream production.
He graduated summa cum laude, and second in his class, from South Texas College of Law Houston in 2016. While in law school, he was a Note & Comment Editor for the South Texas Law Review and a Dean’s Merit Scholar. Evan obtained a B.S.M and an M.B.A from Tulane University where he majored in finance and business law. He is fluent in Portuguese.
