
Dr. Evelyn Chang is an associate in the Palo Alto office of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, where she specializes in business, technology, and patent transactions in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries.
Previously, Evelyn was a scientific advisor in the firm’s patent and innovation strategies practice. During her doctoral studies, she focused on the molecular mechanisms of epigenetic regulation.
She has an extensive background in molecular biology, genetics, immunology, biochemistry, and biophysics and has worked with multiple clients in the microfluidics, next-generation sequencing, biotherapeutics, medical devices, and drug delivery fields.
Evelyn has published several papers pertaining to science and law, including topics ranging from the role of a variant histone on chromatin remodeling to environmental law and Article III standing. She is proficient in Mandarin Chinese.
