
Everette Ted Taylor was born and raised in Fayette County, Alabama. He graduated from The University of Alabama and The University of Alabama School of Law, where he was the student body president.
Ted worked for Ryan deGraffenried during his 1966 gubernatorial campaign and later was associated with the law firm of Hamilton, Denniston, Butler and Riddick in Mobile, Alabama.
Since 1967, Ted has practiced law throughout Alabama, focusing his practice on representing plaintiffs in litigation. He is a pioneer in the area of defective products litigation. Ted is a long-time member of the Board of Trustees of the Prattville YMCA.
He has also served as President of the Alabama Trial Lawyers Association and the Alabama Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates. Ted has enjoyed breeding and racing thoroughbred horses, and in 2013 was named Breeder of the Year in the State of New York.
